the committee

The Berwick & Beaconsfield Chamber of Commerce committee is made up of local business owners who understand the needs of the community and want to help be your voice.

Tammy Lobato

PRESIDENT

Tammy Lobato Wigs & Hair Replacement Services

Tammy Lobato has a long and strong connection with Berwick and Beaconsfield previously representing the area in State Parliament and owning a business in Berwick where she has also lived for over 20 years.

Tammy is the owner of Tammy Lobato Wigs & Hair Replacement Services, established to provide people with realistic hair replacement and compassionate service at an often traumatic time in her client’s lives when they face disease and the need to undergo treatment.  Her motivation to create the business was as a result of her lived experience with the auto-immune disease alopecia which caused all of her hair to fall out as a child and for it to never return.

She is proudly a member of the Victorian Small Business Ministerial Council that provides feedback and recommendations to the Small Business Minister based upon the experience of Victorian businesses.

Tammy established the Berwick & Beaconsfield Chamber of Commerce to ensure that local businesses have a like-minded association to connect with – to contribute to, and benefit from, strong united advocacy to enable greater economic prosperity and in turn, a stronger community.

Lynda Campbell

SECRETARY

Owner, Go Vita Berwick and Berwick Bulk Foods

Lynda Campbell is the owner of two businesses, Go Vita Berwick and Berwick Bulk Foods, both within the Blackburne Square Shopping Centre.  Lynda has a comprehensive background in the health industry, having been a sales representative for leading health brands for over 10 years prior to purchasing Go Vita Berwick in 2012.  The original store was a well established health food store for over 30 years, and after four years of trading, moved into a larger premises which includes a variety of clinical services upstairs such as naturopaths, osteopaths and masseurs.

In 2018 she established a new zero waste concept store called Berwick Bulk Foods, where customers are encouraged to bring in their own containers to fill with not only foods, but cleaning and body products as well.

With children who attend primary and high schools within Berwick, the transition to a health food owner shop owner was an easy career choice.  Lynda has always been passionate about supporting businesses and shopping locally and can often be found walking her boisterous Aussie Shepherd around Wilson Park.

Lynda is proud to be part of the Berwick Beaconsfield Chamber of Commerce and to work together with like minded people in returning the local precincts back to a thriving hub.

Lynette Costabile

ASSISTANT SECRETARY

Co-Owner, Lanterns Viet Kitchen

Lynette Costabile is co-owner of Lanterns Viet Kitchen located in the centre of beautiful High Street, Berwick.

Lanterns was originally established in 2008 in Nha Trang, Vietnam, with a focus to support the under privileged. After going on to open two additional restaurants in Vietnam and owning two franchises here in Melbourne, it was time to for Lynetter and her family to bring a little piece of traditional Vietnamese back home and opened the doors in Berwick in 2019.

Lynette’s involvement in the business is varied but primarily focussed on design, marketing, branding & social media. Following the recent devasting bushfires Lynette organised a trivia evening with all proceeds going to Wildlife Victoria. The generosity of the local traders highlighted the community spirit that exists locally which has motivated her passion for philanthropy.

Away from work she loves spending time with family & friends, walking in one of many beautiful parklands right on our doorstep, baking, travelling the world, capturing memories through my passion of photography… basically anything creative.

Lynette was thrilled to be asked to join the BBCC to lend her support to other local businesses to help promote, collaborate, & do whatever it takes to bring our wonderful community together.

Jennifer Ryder

Owner, A Cleaner Home & Office Cleaning Services

Jennifer has been the owner of a domestic and small business cleaning service for over 14 years beginning her cleaning journey back in 2007 after purchasing a cleaning Franchise.

I have a broad set of business and professional skills having worked hard learning the skills I needed to become a professional cleaning operator and manager of the business. After seeking new challenges I took a hiatus from cleaning in 2015-2020 to work as a Sales Consultant in the real estate industry and this afforded me many new experiences in a different way. My cleaning business is now very busy requiring several sub contractors.

In my spare time I enjoy walking our red heeler Ranger, watching good movies, listening to music and eating great food. I also love cooking, enjoying a lovely wine and I’m an avid crafter.

Living in the area for over 20 years, and raising three boys with wife Tammy, Matt is a strong advocate for being involved.

ICON Drive Services, as an NDIS registered provider, has a reputation as a leader in specialist driver training within the disability sector, as well as being highly regarded in mainstream driver education. Fleet services, focused on compliance and risk mitigation are also part of the services offered. ‘It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of a students journey as they gain independence through mobility’, says Matt.

Matt would like all businesses in the area to be successful, supported, and community minded. Through the Berwick and Beaconsfield Chamber he sees a group dedicated to achieving those goals, and a voice for the community.
